Creative Problem Solving Zone
In this zone, you will still be in your teams but there will be up to 8 teams working against each other at once. Everyone will do the same activities and they require you to put your thinking caps on. It will put your teamwork skills into practice as you do some problem-solving and creativity-related activities. These activities will last 60 min with a 15 min break after each one.
Activities
Battle of the Bands - Groups are given a random assortment of materials and need to make instruments and compose a song. The best song wins.
Riddle Me This - This is an escape room type activity based in the tent village with lots of mini challenges to bend your mind. Can you escape? There will also be some time to speak to our Lead Volunteer Network and a Volunteer from the Media Team about Top awards and Moving on from scouts to Explorers and some of the extra adventures you could have.
Bridge Building - This is a test of your teamwork, you will be given the materials to build a bridge and the instructions to do so, but every now and then our volunteers will add a twist.
